Yup, here we go again. The summer season brought in quite a number of relatively short shows ranging from 11 to 15 total episodes. A few shows, like Hetalia Axis Powers, Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, Umineko no Naku Koro ni, etc continue on into the fall season. Without further ado, here's the tentative lineup coming in roughly two months:

The issue here is, if he does not grant 100 wishes from cats he will turn into a cat himself.

Spin-off from To Aru Majutsu no Index from Fall 2008. This time, it focuses on the adventures of Biribiri (Mikoto) and her friend Kuroko of 'Judgement' as they solve mysteries and maintain order and peace in Academy City.

Sims: Hurrah, more Biribiri! And, no, you do not need to watch To Aru Majutsu no Index in advance as they are separate story lines, but if you like one series more often then not you may like the other. You will see Touma, the main protagonist in Index, dropping by a couple of times though as a supporting character.

White Album 2 / White Album Final ~ Drama/Romance

Seitokai no Ichizon / Student Council's Judgement ~ Comedy

One day, she sees a man fighting with a ruffian who used a tabooed power, and the man defeated the ruffian with one blow of an oddly shaped sword. The man is a blacksmith known as Luke Aunsworth and this fateful encounter was the beginning of their adventure.

In the land of Amberground, where social classes are divided into three different areas: high, middle, and those living in poverty, there are people who work to deliver letters. Their occupation as "Letter Bees" are to deliver through rain, sleet, snow or gloom of nigh...err...letters of importance to citizens. Five years ago, a seven year old Lag Seeing travels with a Letter Bee known as Gauche Suede whom he travels with inspires him to become a Letter Bee. Five years later, his dream comes true but Gauche has gone missing.

Sims: Sort of reminds me of Shigofumi, although I doubt Tegamibachi series will be as dark as that series. There are some similarities: one, it revolves around mail carriers and two, said mail carriers carry some sort of weapon for protection.
In addition, you don't necessarily have to watch the one episode OVA that came out late last year, titled Letter Bee: Light and Blue Night Fantasy, even though it's labeled a prequel. It does give some background info and some insight in a few of the characters, but I'm sure the TV series will reintroduce all that to bring everyone up to speed.


Tentai Senshi Sunred Second Season ~ Comedy

Continuation of the parody series following Sunred, a once powerful and battle-tested hero turned unemployed, chain smoking individual who sold his motor bike and lives gracefully with his girlfriend, and his arch enemy, General Vamp, who, unlike other villains, helps members of society, runs an educational cooking show and helps out Sunred's girlfriend at times. All this while General Vamp and his group of cronies attempt to attack and defeat Sunred.

Oh, and the studio looks like it changed, but really it's the same studio that did the first season but with a new name.

On the movie side of things: Tales of Vesperia ~ The First Strike~ is coming out October 3rd. A re-editing of the Higashi no Eden series will be released as a movie this September titled, Air Communication.
On the OVA side: Shakugan no Shana S OVA series is the forefront project that will eventually become the final third season TV series of Shana after it completes. In addition, Kanokon and Hidamari Sketch x 365 both have a two episode OVA series airing this October.
