INB4FALLSEASON final edit. This season's TV series sure are short, around the 11-13 episode range. I'm disappointed that To Aru Kagaku no Choudenjihou is probably getting a 12 episode run through, but at least it's getting animated.
That yet another Romance of the Three Kingdoms series (no, no Shin Koihime†Musou) that had a joint production agreement with Japan and Chinese animation companies will not make it for the Fall season. Speaking of which, this season actually started five days ago with thanks to envelope-pushing Queen's Blade.
Other series to note: Inuyasha: The Final Act got bumped up from tentative October 10th airing listing to a confirmed October 3rd debut. In addition a new series popped up: Aoi Bungaku (lit. Blue Literature) which seems promising - it takes six classic literary works from famous Japanese authors during and after the Meiji Restoration period and animates them into a 12 episode TV series. I recognize Akutagawa Ryuunosuke in that list having read a few of his other works (Rashōmon and Yabu no Naka to name a few -- and its movies). I'm adding it to my possible watch list.
On the who wins the most roles in TV series award this time around it's Noto Mamiko with 7 series. Followed by Hirano Aya (5), Tomatsu Haruka (5), and Mizuki Nana (4), to name a few. With the previous season's winner, Hocchan (Horie Yui) having only 2 roles this season.
