Just a few updates for this season and other stuff:
Katanagatari is airing monthly rather than weekly, so it's acting almost like an OVA but still manages to fit under the TV series category.
Ah, about a certain moeblob series that aired earlier this year, it was announced after the Let's Go! Live event held in Yokohama on Dec. 30th that a second season is confirmed and is in the works. It's expected that the same production (TBS) and animation (KyoAni) studios will remain the same, but as of yet there's no info available about that. Hey, whatever rakes in the most money, eh? I have my doubts about whether I want to continue the series, but *sigh* I guess for the sake of completion, well... In any case, depending on how fast production goes it may come spring/summer/fall 2010. We have entered an endless recursion and of Endless Èi8h7...Ə castanets & untan's.
Now, if Kadokawa and Kyoto Animations can only announce a third (really, fourth) season to Full Metal Panic! that news alone will make a great end to 2009 compared to the news above that's, well...
Then again, KyoAni hasn't been taking a role in any series since the end of Haruhi. Looking at the slowly growing number of spring 2010 series, they aren't listing any works ... yet.
