Tried out The Sims 3. I find that not having to see a loading screen every time you want to go to the community center or whatever is quite nice. Not only that, but you can seamlessly visit stores and as well as send your Sim off to work and so forth - all within the same map/environment.
Tested out the Trine demo that came out yesterday (coming soon for the PC and PS3), you control three different characters with different abilities; one who can use her archery bow and grapple on to things, one who can slice and dice things, and one who can magically move objects and create crates. Although the demo was two missions long, with the array of abilities you have at your control there are more than one way to get through a challenge.
