Change your clocks by an hour, later
#1
A small snippet (with the bolded highlight of this topic) from the other topic I made earlier this year:

Quote:You've probably heard it from a friend, co-worker, or by someone unknown while walking somewhere, that this year, we are changing our clocks forward by one hour much earlier this year. Daylight Saving Time is changing once again, DST was first in effect during 1966.

Due to President Bush's Energy Policy Act of 2005, beginning this year, we must change our clocks forward by one hour on March 11th (versus April 8th), then we must change our clocks back by one hour on November 4th.

For more information, please visit this Daylight Saving Time information page.

So, on November 4th, please do the common courtesy of "falling back" one hour on the clock, and get that extra needed hour of sleep to boot! Smile

Be sure to tell friends, coworkers, classmates, etc about this; unless if you have some evil plot for them to wake up an hour earlier to get to where they need to go, only to find out that their destination place isn't open for another hour. Tongue

Just a reminder, we go from DST to N/A/E/C/M/P/AK/HAST (that's Newfoundland/Atlantic/Eastern/Central/Mountain/Pacific/Alaska/Hawaii Standard Time) on the first Sunday of November; and not the usual last Sunday of October (which ended October 29th, 2006).

By the way, change not only your clock, but also burnt out lightbulbs and the batteries in your smoke and/or carbon monoxide detectors. The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission will thank you for this.
