Change your clocks by an hour, earlier
#1
You've probably heard it from a friend, co-worker, or by someone unknown while walking somewhere, that this year, we are changing our clocks forward by one hour much earlier this year. Daylight Saving Time is changing once again, DST was first in effect during 1966.

Due to President Bush's Energy Policy Act of 2005, beginning this year, we must change our clocks forward by one hour on March 11th (versus April 8th), then we must change our clocks back by one hour on November 4th.

For our friends over in the UK, it is the same as well, however yours occurs 14 days after the U.S changes into DST, on March 25th. To my understanding, you call it as "Summertime period", versus our Daylight Saving Time (DST).

This is just a caution thread, as I'm sure many will wake up an hour late on March 11th, or 25th for that matter, and have to rush over to work or school. I'm pretty sure there will be heavy advertising on all media channels for this new change between now and next month, so that folks will get it into their minds to change their clock earlier. Smile
